Thanks and Ever Thanks

We are a non-profit organization. Our existence depends on the support of three revenue streams: public funding, ticket sales, and YOU, our gracious donors. Every donation made to Perchance Theatre goes a long way.

Support from our audience, donors, and sponsors helps to ensure that: we can continue to make high-class professional theatre accessible to as many people as possible, we can create jobs for young people in their region, and we can build opportunities for artists to work with high-calibre theatre practitioners from around the world

Giving to charity is a selfless act. Often not tied to any event, holiday or celebration, it is a gift from the heart to share what you can to something you care deeply about. The ripple effect of every one donation is that, together, they create change.

Why Become A Monthly Supporter?

Scheduled giving allows you to make a bigger charitable impact and allows us to better forecast our finances to plan for the future and dream bigger each year.

“For a few cents each month, year after year we use the services of CanadaHelps to transfer financial support to Perchance Theatre. In this way the people of this remarkable theatre company can focus more on producing breathtaking theatre and less on fund raising.”

– Peggy & John Fisher, Owners of The Fisher’s Loft

“Perchance is an exciting, innovative, energetic and thoroughly entertaining Company. This is drama at its finest. Shakespeare with Andy Jones, Greg Malone? Simply hilarious.”

–Barbara Doran, Producer

The Sandbox Series for Professional Development is back for 2025!

Originally launched in 2018 with support from Roger Pearson and Marget Davis, this acclaimed program has nurtured both professional and emerging artists for four transformative years through intensive mentorship, hands-on workshops, and invaluable national and international networking opportunities.

Thanks to the generous support of the Perlin Family Trust, we’re thrilled to reinstate this vital series that brings world-class training directly to Newfoundland and Labrador—eliminating the prohibitive costs and barriers that often prevent our artists from accessing the professional development opportunities readily available in larger centres. This year, four nationally celebrated artists will share their expertise, bringing exciting new skills including stage combat and commedia dell’arte to our community. This program continues to elevate skills and forge meaningful connections throughout our vibrant arts community.
