Selection Criteria:
- Extensive experience and expertise in overseeing and executing multiple complex projects simultaneously, ideally within the arts and culture sector
- A Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, Arts Management, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Artistic Director to formulate season plans and budgets
- Oversee day-to-day administrative and operational functions
- Supervise the marketing, fundraising, and public relations initiatives
- Liaise with the Back Office Manager on financial reporting, budgets, and cash flow
- Liaise with the Board of Directors
- Manage compliance, and reporting for various organizational activities
- Grant writing and other fundraising activities
- Engage with community and industry partners for collaborative projects
- Represent Perchance Theatre at regional and national conferences and committees
Desirable Qualities:
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Experience with financial planning and resource allocation
- Familiarity with grant funding agencies and not-for-profit governance
- Experience with financial management software like QuickBooks Online and familiarity with CADAC
- Ability to solve operational and artistic challenges creatively
- A love of theatre and the theatre-making process
Additional Information
- Location: St. John’s, NL or close to that area, with some flexibility for remote work
- Employment Type: Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Salary: Starting from $62,000 a year, negotiable based on experience
